When living in East Tennessee it is inevitable - Matthew experienced his first trip to Dollywood's Splash Country. We went to celebrate Corbyn's 9th birthday with her. The trip was rather last minute as we had originally planned to go to the Oak Ridge pool but it hadn't open yet so we headed to Sevierville instead.
This was Matthew's first swimming trip. As you can see he fully took advantage of the gorgeous day and splashed and played in the water (kidding).
No pictures were taken of Elijah since he ran from Lisa every time she asked him to pose for a shot (I forgot my camera). Elijah had a good time though as he played with Corbyn, Uncle Randy, and David. The big kids played in the wave pool and the Lazy River. They eventually ended up in the kiddie area where Micah and Carson were playing.
Matthew's first swimsuitMatthew kept trying to open his eyes but the sun was too bright even in the shade. Nana stopped on her way home from Aunt Mae's and joined us at Splash Country. She needed some quality time with the grandkids.
Here is a pic of Matthew relaxing with the birthday girl. Corbyn really adores him.
The twins were oblivious to him since they were so busy playing in the water but they tried playing with him afterwards when we all went to Pizza Hut. They call him "Baby Mashoo".
