We went swimming every day splitting time between the beach and the swimming pools. We were lucky because there was a waterfall that fell over the lower swimming pool that created a shaded walkway where we set up Matthew's tent. We even had a little fan blowing inside the tent so he "had it made in the shade" (sorry - couldn't pass up the opportunity).

Elijah had a great time playing in the pool with David and me (when I had the chance). He also spent quite a bit of time with Corbyn. He got out in the ocean on his boogie board and was really good at riding the waves. He even gave Corbyn a few pointers when she got herself a board. We played lots of fun games like "monkey in the middle", football, chase, and even had a "chicken fight" with Lisa and Corbyn. The chicken fight was a hit with the kids but proved to be exhausting to Lisa and me. Beach and pool fun pics below:
We had a few opportunities to get out on the town so we ventured out shopping, golfing, and eating of course. We took the boys to Fudpuckers one evening and had their photo taken holding a real alligator. Look at Matthew touching it with his little finger!

David and I even got a night out by ourselves. Nana & Randy stayed at the condo with Matthew while Lisa took Elijah, Corbyn, and the twins to McDonald's. It was so nice to have a couple of hours of quiet. I tried to take Matthew with us but Nana put her foot down. We were so blessed to have her there with us all week because she was so gracious in helping with the children and making sure everyone was having a good time.
Night life included a few trips to play miniature golf, swimming, and frog hunting. We also took advantage of the beautiful sunset and had a few family pictures taken. What an amazing week it was! Thank you Nana for planning the trip and giving of yourself so generously. We look forward to next year's trip.
Stay tuned for a post from our upcoming beach trip to Virginia this week.
