Elijah's baseball season has begun and he plays for the White Sox. He is excited to be playing in a more competitive league with 7 & 8 yr. olds who are "coach-pitched". He can really hit the ball and is a very dependable player on defense. He has the knowledge of where to throw the ball and the arm (like his mommy) to launch it there. Elijah's favorite position is outfield. Because of his strengths and leadership skills, however, the coach often plays him at pitcher or short-stop. We imagine that this will become one of his strong sports. His other love is football.
Elijah really enjoys watching sports on television and talking smack to whoever will listen. Much to the dismay of his family, he is a Florida fan. He is such a Florida fan that his entire bedroom is decked out in memorabilia and icky Florida decor. One of his favorite past-times is cheering for the opposite team of everyone else around him. This fits in quite nicely with his whole "opposite" attitude. For details, ask his mother.
